One day when walking past the bakery in Tesco’s,  what was on offer but the Tesco BMS1 breadmaker for just under £30 which seemed like ideal starter price.

It came with a few basic tools and seem very straight forward which is never the best sign, but with straight forward instructions and a Hovis white crusty bread mix we where on the way. Add the widget plus the water, the mix and butter all I needed to do was press start and the kneading begins.

I prefer to use my bread machine only to mix the dough – then I put it in a regular sized breadpan and throw it in the oven. I know that this isn’t quite as fast, but it allows me to have a perfectly formed loaf of bread.

Those who don’t use a bread machine on a regular basis have no idea what they’re missing!

You have saved my bread makers life, thank you a million times over. I lost the manual during kitchen renovations and thought I’d never be able to get hold of a copy. I’m now very much looking forward to my next freshly baked loaf.

This is a great bread maker, it was so cheap that I thought there must be something wrong with it but it’s perfect.
